Interactive Publishing Europe Conference
Since 1994 we produce the international content strategy conference Interactive Publishing Europe. The way newspapers, magazines and other content producers can grow in a digital environment has been the key issue. The speakers' list as well as the attendees' list is a proper "Who is who" of the online publishing industry in Europe and the USA over the last 9 years.
Our next event will take place January 16/17, 2003, in Zurich. We will invite the best brains we can think of for this working conference, the number will be a maximum of 150. We aim for nothing less than the best online publishing strategy event ever.

In 2000 and 2001 the conference has been expanded to Content Summit which combines the conference Interactive Publishing with guest events. The next Content Summit will take place 2003.
1998 Interactive Publishing initiated the IP TOP Awards for the best in European online content. Former winners included The Guardian, BBC Online, DMonline or ZDF.reporter. This year will mark the 5th consecutive competition.
The Digital Collection features screen captures from news sites around the world. Interactive Publishing offers two online exhibitions at this stage: September (news sites on September 11/12, 2001) and Worldcup (news and sports sites during the 2002 soccer world cup).
Interactive Publishing produces its own irregular Netwanderings (Lately on the Web), contributes to industry newsletters and through columns of Norbert Specker even to a Sunday paper (NZZ am Sonntag).
Norbert Specker initiated this company and a range of other ventures in the online publishing space. Forever fascinated with the many disguises content cloaks itself in, the variety of business models and delivery channels, he scouts the content world and its key exponents for the most important strategic issues at hand.

Bettina Tamo is the operational powerhouse of Interactive Publishing. Before joining she has been running the biggest Swiss consumer magazine "Beobachter" after working for many years at the "Finanz und Wirtschaft". An excellent and relentless organizer with a firm handle on the business aspects she brings a very personal and warm approach to this business which - above all - is a "people business" .
Urs van Binsbergen and Dominic Meyer (¬bureau taktik) are responsible for the smooth running of the site. So, if you have some constructive ideas on how to improve this site, please let them know. Comments about the web site are very welcome.
Since the first step into the conference adventure, Pierre Zellweger and his company videodisplays have been responsible for running the many high-tech parts that typically can go amiss when performed in front of an audience.
